Telehealth Appointments

Online Psychiatric Appointments for Adult Patients in California

Our telehealth appointments let adults meet with a provider securely from home, starting with a psychiatric evaluation and continuing through ongoing medication management. Visit our contact page to schedule your first visit.

No waiting room, no commute, no taking half a day off work just to get to an appointment. Every service we offer, from your first psychiatric evaluation to ongoing medication management, happens through a secure, easy to join video visit. You'll get a link ahead of time, log in from wherever feels comfortable, and talk directly with your provider, just like you would in person.

For a lot of patients, that alone changes whether care feels possible in the first place. A lunch break, a quiet room at the end of a long day, a parked car between errands, any of those can work, as described on our about page.

It also tends to lower the barrier to actually following through. When getting to an appointment doesn't require rearranging your whole day, it's a lot easier to show up consistently, and consistency is a big part of what makes ongoing medication management work.

Care That Comes to You

What You'll Need on Your End

A stable internet connection, a quiet, private spot, and a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera, that's really it. Since we see adults across Virginia, California, Oregon, Washington, and New York, we schedule around your time zone and your life, not a single office's hours.

If your connection drops or something technical goes wrong during a visit, that's not the end of the appointment. We'll work around it, whether that means reconnecting or finishing the conversation by phone, so a bad signal never costs you the time you set aside. If it happens again, just let us know through our contact page.

You also don't need any special software or a complicated setup beforehand. If you can join a video call, you already have what you need for a telehealth appointment with us, whichever service brings you in.

How This Grows With You Over Time

Your very first telehealth appointment is always your psychiatric evaluation, the conversation everything else is built on. From there, most people settle into regular medication management visits, and some eventually move into a medication tapering plan as things improve, all through the same screen, with the same provider who already knows you.

Nothing about that path is fixed in stone, either. If your needs change, so does the medication management plan, and that conversation happens with the same person you've already built trust with.

The Same Relationship, Just Not in a Waiting Room

Telehealth doesn't mean less personal. You see the same provider every time, and your story, everything from your original evaluation to every medication change since, carries forward with you automatically, the way it would with any ongoing relationship.

Plenty of patients tell us it's actually easier to be honest on screen than it ever was sitting across from someone in an office. There's no version of care here that treats a video visit as the lesser option.

Whenever You're Ready

If you'd like to book your first telehealth appointment, visit our contact page to get started, or explore our complete services to see everything we offer this way.

Whatever's brought you here, there's no wrong time to reach out. We'll take it from there, starting with a psychiatric evaluation if you're new to the practice.

When You're Ready to Reduce or Stop

If you're doing well, or a medication no longer feels right, we can move into a hyperbolic medication taper with the same provider who already knows your story.
